Not granted access by current owner. Landlocked but adjacent to his lot

When current owner bought lot from original builder, the guy up the road stopped driving on the lot. His regular lot is adjacent to the wooded lot he wants to pull trailer to but their is no easement to get there other by him walking from the lot his house is on to the wooded lot. His issue is a creek prevents him from pulling trailer across to get into his woods.

This sounds like a real pain. I’m not interested in paying a lawyer to figure it out so I can be nice. I really wouldn’t care if he trespassed but from what I read is that if I know he’s doing it then he is no longer a trespasser by legal definition

Absolutely! You definitely must consult a lawyer. -- EDGEMAN 07/24/2019 11:06AM
